Dundee-based people development company Insights was recognised in the Hr NETWORK National Awards 2017 with the Outstanding Contribution to Scottish HR Award at the Hilton in Glasgow last night! Chief Executive Andy Lothian collected the award, which was presented in recognition of Insights flagship product Insights Discovery.

Andy (pictured below) said: “I’m incredibly honoured and privileged to receive this award on behalf of Insights.”

He added: “Right now, what the world needs, and what we as the HR community can provide, is to help the world rediscover humanity in a world of disruption. In a world where technology is taking over, and tribalism and politics of nationalism and social challenges and so on overwhelm us, if we can maintain our humanity in that world, then we will change it.”

Insights was recognised by the judging panel for its service to the HR industry.

Founded over 20 years ago in Dundee, Scotland, Insights uses a simple and accessible model of personality type based on the work of Swiss psychologist Carl Jung. Insights helps people develop effective strategies to interact with others and respond to the demands of their professional environment.

The work is founded in the notion that personal breakthroughs lead to business breakthroughs, enabling increased innovation, creativity and productivity.

Hr NETWORK’s Lee Turner said: “Insights Discovery is a learning tool designed for HR and management professionals across the world and is today regarded as a must have index for all HR and people professionals. This learning system, which has served this industry so well since it was launched, is used by major global brands across the world and the judging panel felt this needed to be recognised.”

The 11th annual Hr NETWORK Scotland National Awards, which were held at the Hilton Hotel in Glasgow, recognise, acknowledge and reward HR excellence across Scotland. The event was hosted by Scottish broadcaster Stephen Jardine.
