Search Consultancy’s Managing Director for Scotland, Simone Lockhart, has been presented with a Women in Leadership award at a prestigious industry event.

Simone was honoured at the prestigious Customer Contact Association (CCA) awards in recognition of her achievements in promoting excellence in customer service.

She was one of just six women to be presented with a Women in Leadership award at the CCA Excellence Awards ceremony, held in Glasgow on November 25th.

The presentation of the awards coincided with the launch of the Women in Leadership Programme, which aims to encourage gender equality in the workplace.

Simone joined respected industry leaders including Ruth Birkin, Head of Global Contact Centres for Etihad Airways and Mary Graham, CEO of Stellar UK, in accepting the prestigious award.

Simone will now play a part in promoting the Women in Leadership Programme agenda, alongside her fellow winners.

Simone started her career at leading recruitment agency Search Consultancy almost 18 years ago, starting out as a Divisional Manager.

After receiving the award, Simone said: “It is a great honour to be recognised by CCA and to be given the opportunity to become involved in the Women in Leadership Programme.

“To be included in such an impressive group of women, all of whom are highly respected in within their industries and organisations, is quite overwhelming.

“This award also reflects the hard work and dedication of the entire team at Search, who are the driving force behind our continuing success.”

The ceremony, held at the five star Hilton Hotel in Glasgow, was attended by 700 professionals and senior executives from across a wide range of industry sectors.
