Three and Hr NETWORK make Diversity & Inclusion a priority as sponsorship is announced

Hr NETWORK magazine, Scotland’s leading HR & people management publication is proud to announce that mobile network providers Three UK and Three Ireland are sponsoring the Diversity & Inclusion category for the Hr NETWORK National Awards 2021.

Three is committed to creating an engaging and inclusive culture. Their Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging Steering Committee – made up of volunteers from across their businesses – are making some great progress, partnering with Investors in Diversity, celebrating a diverse calendar of events and ensuring their policies and processes support their people. They believe that being diverse and inclusive, with a strong sense of belonging is not only the right thing to do but it will make them a stronger and better business. And they’re committed to embedding it as part of their very DNA. Sponsoring this award is just one of many steps Three is taking to support the progress of Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging not only within their own organisation, but within the communities they operate in.

The Hr NETWORK Awards, in partnership with Roffey Park Institute, one of the UK’s foremost leadership development & management specialists, are designed to recognise, acknowledge and reward the champions of the Scottish HR & people management profession which will see the Diversity & Inclusion Award of the Year, sponsored by Three, presented to the eventual winner at the forthcoming Awards Gala Dinner, due to take place in Glasgow in November.

Commenting on the commitment by Three UK and Three Ireland to the Diversity & Inclusion Award, founder & publisher of Hr NETWORK magazine Lee Turner said: “We are proud to secure such high-profile organisations such as Three UK and Three Ireland. Despite the relative gulf in size of Three UK and Three Ireland, which employs almost 5,000 people over both businesses and supports around 10 million customers, compared to Hr NETWORK and its publishing company Media Avenue, which employs only 11 people, we share the same values, priorities and commitment to diversity & inclusion not just in our own organisation but across our entire community of around 30,000 HR & people professionals, and we truly admire Three for their commitment to diversity & inclusion.”

The winner of the Diversity & Inclusion Award 2021 will be announced, along with 17 other category winners, at the Gala Dinner taking place at the Glasgow Hilton on Thursday 25th November 2021.
